The third quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends among the top beauty retail apps on the Android platform in South America. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps have shown varying patterns in terms of weekly downloads and active user engagement.

O Boticário, published by Grupo Boticário, experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with around 86.9K downloads, the app witnessed a peak of approximately 141.5K in the week of August 12. The weekly active users also displayed an upward trajectory, rising from about 2.8M at the start of July to a high of 4.3M mid-August, before stabilizing around 2.9M by the end of September.

Natura: Perfumes e Cosméticos maintained a relatively stable download rate through the quarter, beginning with approximately 46.4K and ending with 48.8K downloads. Active users for the app hovered around the 430K to 465K range, demonstrating consistent user engagement.
